THA SERVICE TO HUMANITY IS SERVICE TO GOD
YOU DO THINGS FOR OTHERS IT GIVES JOY AND A PEACEFUL LIFE
The above noble sayings inspired like minded friends Mr.Karuppusamy, Mr.AYYAPPAN, Mr.Venugopal, Mr.Ratinasabapathy in (Super Star Hair Dressing Center) R.S.Puram, Coimbatore induced them to form an association to help the poor.
The Association started in 1988 under banner The Helpers Association.
On August 15th 1989 our activity gained a moment. We selected a Government elementary School in a remote village, Kopenery near Anakatti situated in the Western Ghats of Coimbatore district.
Then The Helpers Association has been reaching the Un-reached. It was first established in the Manchester of South India Tamilnadu, Coimbatore Capital as an Association to reach out to the under privileged, spread service and lead them to comfortable lives. In 2003 ‘The Helpers Association’ was registered as ‘The Helpers Association Charitable Trust’ (THA TRUST).
No one has ever become poor by giving. That’s what our vision follows. We helped for under privileged children studying in Govt Schools for their education purpose who live around the city side and also in a remote village. This continued adopting children to provide their educational needs. As a beginning we started with a sum amount of Rs.7,000/- to renovate a Kopenery Govt School, year by years to renovate Govt School up to Rs.5 Lacks every year. All the help provided as donation is only from friends and few donor’s.
Every one need a helping hand, you find one at the end of your arm. When we grow older, you discover that you have two hands: one for helping yourself the other for helping others.
We regularly participate in blood donation camps, we have helped needy people from any Natural disaster and we also support for HIV and Cancer patients.
We believe the world is one big family, and we need to help each other. As we all know love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. Join hands together we shall make a great difference.
Our aim is to help for the following:
